How to Resize Your Chart on Ouinex

Updated September 2026

Drag down and the chart grows, taking space from the panel beneath it. Drag up and the chart shrinks, giving that space back.

That is the whole mechanic. What is worth a minute is what you are trading off, because the space below the chart is not empty.

What lives below the chart

The lower panel holds Open Positions, Limit Orders, Stop Orders, Orders History and, new in 4.35, the Algo tab, where TWAP, iceberg, trailing stop, OCO, OTO and scaled orders appear while they run.

That last one changes the calculation. Before 4.35, a shrunken lower panel cost you a glance at your open positions. Now it can also hide an algorithmic order that is still working, because algo orders do not appear in Open Positions, the Algo tab is the only place they show.

Two working layouts

Chart-heavy: drag down. More price action, more room for indicators and drawings, better for reading structure on a higher timeframe. This is the layout for analysis, when you are deciding what to do rather than managing what you have done.

Panel-heavy: drag up. Open positions, resting orders and running algos visible at once, without switching tabs. This is the layout for management, several positions open, orders working, and the thing you need to see is the state of the account rather than the shape of the candle.

Most traders want both at different times, which is the point of it being a drag handle rather than a setting.

The one rule worth keeping

If you have an algorithmic order running, keep the Algo tab visible.

A TWAP working through a 4-hour window, or an iceberg on Fixed Prices in a market that has moved away, will sit there making no noise at all. The only way you find out that an order is half-filled or stalled is by looking at it, and a collapsed panel means you will not. Analysis layout is for when nothing is running.

FAQ

How do I resize the chart on Ouinex? Use the drag handle below the chart, in the centre. Click and hold, then drag down to enlarge the chart or up to shrink it and show more of the panel beneath.

What is in the panel below the chart? Open Positions, Limit Orders, Stop Orders, Orders History, and the Algo tab, which holds algorithmic orders such as TWAP, iceberg, trailing stop, OCO, OTO and scaled orders while they run.

Does the chart size stay the same next time I log in? The handle sets the layout for your working session. Set it to suit what you are doing, analysis or position management, rather than treating it as a one-time configuration.

Why can I not see my TWAP order in Open Positions? Algorithmic orders do not appear in Open Positions. They live in the Algo tab in the lower panel, which is one of the reasons to keep that panel visible while an algo order is running.

The bottom line

Drag down to read the market, drag up to manage the account, and leave the panel visible whenever an algorithmic order is working. It is a small feature that mostly matters because of what the lower panel now contains. The full 4.35 changelog covers the rest.
